Carpet Cleaning and Extraction Services

One of the main jobs of a carpet is to capture soil, bacteria and allergens brought into facilities off from visitor’s and employee’s shoe bottoms. Over time a dirty carpet not only spoils the overall aesthetic of your building but may also produce bad odors and develop traffic wear. In order to maintain a visually pleasant and healthy environment, it is crucial to frequently clean carpets the right way.

The most prevalent sign that a carpet is due to be cleaned is when vacuuming fails to leave the carpet looking fresh and lively. Due to building usage and different foot traffic areas, some carpeting must be cleaned quarterly, whereas others only need to be cleaned annually.

We use two methods to achieve the highest standard of carpet cleaning in the industry. Rotary-style bonnet cleaning is an older method that can be used on heavily soiled carpeting utilizing a side-by-side swing machine and pad. Truck-mounted hot water extraction system is a state-of-the-art method which allows the technician to control temperature and pressure to properly accommodate any type of carpeting.

At C.M. Cleaning, we primarily use truck mounted hot water extraction methods to aid in carpet and upholstery cleaning. This efficient method removes up to 90% of the solution that is used to clean which drastically decreases the drying time for your carpet, and actually removes the soil completely from within the fibers. This method is often referred to as “steam carpet cleaning,” although steam is not actually used to clean. This cleaning method allows us to safely remove dirt, spots and odors, without leaving behind any residue. The ease of control in precise pressure and heat with our Hydramaster system allows our technicians to clean any type of fabric from orientals, to office carpeting, to cubicle panels, mattresses and upholstery.

All of our carpet and upholstery cleaning services include pre-conditioning areas that have staining and high traffic areas, and then finish with deodorization leaving the room smelling it’s best. Our preconditioners and deodorizers are environmentally friendly and emit zero allergen-causing toxic fumes. This makes the carpet safe for pets and babies to play on immediately after the area is done drying.

Along with other basic training and certifications in accordance with OSHA, all of our carpet cleaning technicians are specifically certified in carpet cleaning and water damage restoration through IICRC (the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) which is the non-profit certifying body for the cleaning and restoration industry nationwide.
